Job Description:

Hosts play a key role in creating a great first impression at Old Barn Resort. You’ll be one of the first faces guests see — welcoming diners, answering questions, and helping guests navigate both the restaurant and the resort as a whole.

This role is a mix of guest interaction, communication, and teamwork, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy and helping others feel comfortable and informed.

Job Functions:

  • Greet guests as they arrive and help create a welcoming atmosphere

  • Answer phone calls and assist with general guest questions

  • Help manage guest flow and wait times during busy periods

  • Provide clear direction and information for resort guests not dining in the restaurant

  • Share information about the restaurant, resort amenities, and surrounding area

  • Assist with food running or other front-of-house needs as needed

  • Help keep guest areas clean, organized, and inviting

  • Work closely with the team to ensure guests have a positive overall experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 15 years.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Friendly, positive attitude toward guests and teammates

  • Comfortable talking with a wide variety of guests

  • Ability to stay organized and calm in busy situations

  • Willingness to help wherever needed

  • Desire to contribute positively to our team culture

Working Conditions:

  • Weekend and holiday availability is required

  • Ability to stand and stay active for extended periods

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items as needed during a shift
