Root River State Bike Trail
Explore over 60 miles of paved trails on the Root River and Harmony-Preston Valley State Trails, winding through 300-foot limestone bluffs and lush forests. With direct access points from our resort, you can easily embark on a biking adventure. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and enjoy the vibrant seasonal colors. Trail maps are available at our campground store. Remember to wear helmets and carry water for a safe ride.

Rivers Bend Golf Course
Challenge yourself at Rivers Bend, our par 70, 18-hole golf course nestled along the Root River and Watson Creek. With bluff-top tee shots and well-guarded greens, precision is key. Signature holes include the peninsula par-3 10th and the dramatic par-5 16th. Tee times are required — book online at Rivers Bend.

Root River Water Activities
Nothing says summer like tubing the Root River. Launch right from the resort and float through Driftless beauty. Prefer paddling? Canoe and kayak rentals are available nearby. Tubes are sold at our store, with an air station on-site. Always check current river conditions and wear a life jacket for safety.

Trout Fishing in the Driftless Area
